Little Pug Big Heart is my 4th book (published July 2023). This sweet adoption tale is inspired by our family chug Daisy (she is a chihuahua pug mix). At this point -- she is old and confused, but deep down, she is as sweet as can be. She wants nothing else but to be close to her special human (me). Inspired by Daisy -- Penelope -- the runt of the Little Pug Big Heart liter, shows us all how kindness, love, and thoughtfulness will always find us when we show it to others.
One of the long term goals of Red Ribbit Reads is to partner with a local or national non-profit for each book. For Little Pug Big Heart, 75% of pre-order profits went to Pug Hearts of Houston (resulting in a $1200 donation!) and 25% will be donated going forward.
